Our Story

The Lake Bluff School District’s Steinway had some wear and tear that needed to be fixed and the school was unable to prioritize the funding for the project. In response, concerned parents launched the Save Our Steinway fundraising campaign that successfully raised the money through donations from the community. This effort was the early foundation for the Alliance for Excellence which has gone on to raise and award over $50,000 in teaching grants to Lake Bluff School teachers.
